Wellbeing Tools for Life
Dr Susannah Ward
Join Dr Susannah Ward as she shares insightful skills including gratitude, mantra, and visualisation; with breath and body work to improve functionality.
Discover how you can incorporate ‘grounding mindfulness’ into your everyday work and study routines as a trainee.
Learn the two-world framework (inner and outer world) to manage and understand your behaviours. Practice strategies for self-care to cultivate and maintain a healthy relationship with yourself and your human-ness.
It is by fostering a healthy relationship with yourself that Dr Ward believes prevents burn-out. These wellbeing tools aim to optimise your ability to manage yourself in a self-compassionate way within a work system that we know is far from opimal.
There will be time for youto practice these skills, write them down and consider how and when you can incorporate them into your day along with a body scan relaxation technique to complete this keynote session.
